Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket (Print Version)

Breakfast sausages wrapped in cinnamon roll dough and baked for a savory sweet morning treat.

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
02 - 6 original cinnamon rolls with icing

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Open the can of cinnamon rolls. For 12 sausage links, slice each of the 6 rolls in half. Using your hands or a rolling pin, gently flatten each half into a rectangle.
03 - Enclose one sausage link in each prepared dough piece, rolling the dough around the sausage and positioning the seam-side down.
04 - Arrange wrapped sausages seam-side down on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 14 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
05 - Remove from oven and drizzle the reserved icing evenly over each piece. Serve while warm.

01 - If preferred, line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
