Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers (Print Version)

Jalapeños filled with brie and blueberry, drizzled with honey and nuts, baked until warm and melty.

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 to 12 jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
02 - 6 to 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small cubes
03 - 1/3 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
06 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
07 - Pinch of sea salt

→ Garnish

08 - Fresh thyme or parsley (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds, leaving a few seeds for extra heat if desired.
03 - Arrange jalapeño halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet and place a cube of brie in each cavity.
04 - Spoon a small amount of blueberry preserves or a few fresh blueberries over each brie-filled jalapeño.
05 - Drizzle lightly with honey. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
06 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the jalapeños are slightly softened and the brie is melted.
07 - Garnish with chopped fresh thyme or parsley if desired and serve warm.
