Ripe pears filled with blue cheese, walnuts, and honey, baked to perfection and finished with fresh thyme.

# Ingredients:

→ Pears

01 - 4 ripe pears, halved and cored

→ Cheese Filling

02 - 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
03 - 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
04 - 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling

→ Seasoning and Garnish

05 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Prepare a baking sheet for assembly.
02 - Slice pears in half and carefully remove cores using a melon baller or spoon. Arrange pear halves cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - In a small bowl, combine crumbled blue cheese, toasted walnuts, and honey. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
04 - Spoon the cheese filling into the cavity of each pear half, pressing gently to pack the mixture.
05 - Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the filled pears and sprinkle with ground black pepper. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
06 - Remove from the oven. Drizzle with additional honey and garnish with fresh thyme sprigs. Serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Choose pears that are ripe yet firm to help maintain their shape during baking.
