Layers of lettuce, ground beef, cheddar, and pickles dressed in a creamy special sauce.

# Ingredients:

→ Salad Base

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef
02 - Worcestershire sauce, to taste
03 - Seasoned salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
04 - 3 heads romaine lettuce, chopped and washed
05 - 1 red onion, thinly sliced
06 - 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
08 - 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
09 - Sesame seeds, optional for garnish

→ Special Sauce Salad Dressing

10 - 1 cup mayonnaise
11 - 1/4 cup French dressing or ketchup
12 - 2 tablespoons minced dill pickles
13 - 2 tablespoons minced white onion or red onion
14 - 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar

# Steps:

01 - Combine mayonnaise, French dressing or ketchup, minced pickles, minced onion, and distilled white vinegar in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and set aside. Dressing can be prepared in advance and refrigerated for optimal flavor.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and allow it to sear undisturbed until the bottom is browned. Season with Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Sauté until the beef is fully cooked, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and cool slightly.
03 - Distribute the chopped romaine lettuce evenly among serving plates or bowls. Top each portion with cooked ground beef, sliced red onions, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, and dill pickles.
04 - Drizzle the prepared Special Sauce Salad Dressing over the salad components. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, then serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For enhanced flavor, prepare the salad dressing a day ahead to allow the ingredients to meld.
