# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, diced
03 - 2 cups beef broth
04 - 1 cup whole milk
05 - 8 ounces dry pasta such as rotini or penne
06 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
07 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
08 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Warm olive oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion. Cook until beef is thoroughly browned and onions are softened, stirring frequently. Drain excess fat from the pot if needed.
02 - Pour in beef broth and whole milk. Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix over the mixture and stir until all components are fully incorporated.
03 - Stir in dry pasta, ensuring that most of the pasta is submerged in the liquid for even cooking.
04 - Bring contents to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to achieve a low simmer. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 12 to 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
05 - Remove pot from heat. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy.
06 - Adjust seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper as needed. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - For added flavor dimension, finish with chopped fresh chives or parsley.
