In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the shredded chicken with barbecue sauce until all pieces are evenly coated.

Place one tortilla in a clean skillet set over low-medium heat and allow to warm on one side.

Sprinkle a portion of cheddar cheese over half of the tortilla, spoon a layer of the barbecue chicken mixture on top, then add additional cheese over the chicken.

Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling, carefully flip it, and continue to cook until golden brown spots develop on the surface and cheese is fully melted. Repeat the process for remaining tortillas.

Transfer quesadillas to a plate and serve immediately while hot and crisp.
