BBQ Cheddar Bacon Bombs (Print Version)

Beef filled with cheddar, wrapped in bacon, brushed with BBQ sauce, and cooked to smoky, melty bites.

# Ingredients:

→ Beef and Seasonings

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Filling and Wrapping

07 - 6 cubes sharp cheddar cheese, approximately 1 inch each
08 - 6 slices thick-cut bacon

→ Sauce and Garnish

09 - 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, plus extra for brushing
10 - Chopped fresh parsley or chives, optional, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F or heat grill to medium-high.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Blend gently until just combined.
03 - Divide the seasoned beef into six equal portions. Flatten each into a disk and place a cheese cube in the center. Encase the cheese fully by shaping the beef around it into a sealed ball.
04 - Wrap each beef ball securely with a slice of thick-cut bacon, using toothpicks to fasten if needed.
05 - Arrange the bacon-wrapped bombs onto a wire rack set over a baking sheet if using the oven, or place directly on the grill grates.
06 - Brush each bacon-wrapped bomb evenly with barbecue sauce.
07 - Bake or grill for 25 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally on the grill, until the bacon is crisp and the beef is cooked through. Brush with additional barbecue sauce during the final 5 minutes of cooking.
08 - Let the bombs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Use toothpicks to secure the bacon and prevent unraveling during cooking.
