Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking pan.

Cook bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes until just beginning to crisp yet still pliable. Transfer to paper towels to drain and cool slightly. Cut each bacon slice in half.

Flatten each biscuit dough portion slightly. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center and top with half a slice of cooked bacon. Wrap biscuit dough around filling and seal edges well. Repeat until all pieces are assembled.

Place prepared bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden and fully cooked.

If using, mix barbecue sauce and honey. Brush over freshly baked bombs for sheen and flavor. Sprinkle with chopped green onions or parsley as desired.

Serve warm with extra barbecue sauce for dipping.
