Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta (Print Version)

Creamy shrimp tossed with spicy sweet chili sauce and pasta. Bright flavors, quick and satisfying meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 225 grams spaghetti or linguine

→ Sauce

02 - 180 millilitres mayonnaise
03 - 80 millilitres sweet chili sauce
04 - 2 limes, juiced
05 - 30 millilitres sriracha

→ Shrimp Preparation

06 - 340 grams medium shrimp, deveined and peeled
07 - 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
08 - 1 teaspoon paprika
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 teaspoon onion powder

→ Cooking Oil

11 - 15 millilitres vegetable oil or olive oil

→ Garnish

12 - 15 millilitres parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Bring a large stock pot of water to a boil and salt generously. Cook spaghetti or linguine until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, and sriracha until smooth. Reserve for later use.
03 - In a large bowl, combine shrimp with minced garlic, paprika, salt, and onion powder. Toss until shrimp are evenly coated.
04 - Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Arrange shrimp in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until nearly opaque.
05 - Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet with the shrimp. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and shrimp are fully cooked.
06 - Toss the drained pasta with the shrimp and sauce mixture. Plate and garnish with chopped parsley as desired.

# Notes:

01 - For more intense flavour, marinate the shrimp for up to 15 minutes before cooking.
