In a bowl, mash the ripe banana completely. Add the self-rising flour and mix with a spatula or fork until combined.

Once the mixture becomes crumbly, use your hands to work it into a smooth (but slightly sticky inside) dough ball. Mix just until formed and do not overmix.

Divide the dough into 7 equal portions. Lightly oil your hands and roll each piece into a small ball.

Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the donut holes with space between each to prevent sticking.

Cook in the air fryer at 177°C (350°F) for 6 minutes until golden brown.

While still warm, lightly brush each donut hole with oil and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat completely.

Serve immediately while warm for best texture and flavor.
