Baked Salmon with Asparagus (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 salmon fillets
02 - 2 tablespoons vegetable or chicken broth
03 - 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice
04 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce (e.g., Sriracha)
05 - 4 teaspoons minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
06 - Salt and ground black pepper to taste
07 - 3-4 tablespoons butter, cut into small cubes (or margarine)
08 - 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or cilantro
09 - 450 grams medium-thick asparagus, woody ends trimmed

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
02 - Cut two 35x30-centimeter sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
03 - In a small bowl, mix broth, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Add minced garlic and butter cubes.
04 - Pat salmon fillets dry, season with salt and pepper, and place on the foil. Arrange asparagus beside the salmon. Drizzle garlic butter sauce over both.
05 - Fold the foil to seal the packets, leaving space inside for heat circulation. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 9-12 minutes.
06 - Carefully unwrap the foil packets. Drizzle with more lemon juice, garnish with parsley or cilantro, and serve.

# Notes:

01 - For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with margarine or a dairy-free butter alternative.
