01 - 24 frozen tater tots
02 - 12 bacon slices, cut in half crosswise

→ Coating & Seasoning

03 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon chili powder

05 - Toothpicks as needed

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
02 - In a small bowl, thoroughly mix brown sugar with chili powder until evenly combined.
03 - Individually encase each frozen tater tot in a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick through the sides.
04 - Roll each bacon-wrapped tater tot in the sugar and chili mixture until fully coated. Arrange in a single layer on the prepared wire rack.
05 - Bake on the middle oven rack for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bacon turns crisp and tater tots are golden brown.
06 - Let stand on rack for several minutes to cool slightly before transferring to a serving platter.
