01 -
Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble. Dice onions.
02 -
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
03 -
Add crumbled bacon, diced onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to the beef. Stir to blend well, and season with salt and pepper.
04 -
Carefully hollow out the center of each frozen tater tot, shaping them into cones.
05 -
Fill each tater tot cone with the bacon cheeseburger mixture. Sprinkle the tops with shredded cheddar cheese.
06 -
Arrange stuffed tater tot cones on a baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until tater tots are crisp and cheese is melted.
07 -
In a mixing bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese with any leftover bacon cheeseburger mixture.
08 -
Once tater tot cones are done, remove from oven. Top each cone with mozzarella mixture. Return to oven and bake an additional 5–10 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
09 -
Serve immediately while hot, enjoying the melted cheese and savory filling.
