Air Fryer Orange Slices Candied (Print Version)

Zesty orange slices are delicately candied and crisped in the air fryer to a perfect sweet finish.

01 - 2 large oranges
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup water

# Steps:

01 - Cut the oranges into thin, even rounds using a sharp knife.
02 - Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar fully dissolves.
03 - Submerge the orange slices in the sugar syrup and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Turn slices carefully to coat both sides.
04 - Remove the orange slices from the saucepan and arrange them in a single layer on a wire rack. Allow them to cool for several minutes.
05 - Place the orange slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 300°F for 15 minutes, flipping each slice halfway through the cooking time.
06 - Transfer the air-fried orange slices to a rack to cool completely before serving.
