# Ingredients:

01 - 1 slice white sandwich bread
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 3 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

05 - Sesame seeds, to garnish
06 - Maple syrup or honey, for serving
07 - Pinch of salt, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Place the slice of white bread into the air fryer basket without pre-toasting.
02 - Gently press down the center of the bread with the back of a spoon to create a well for the egg.
03 - Brush or drizzle olive oil onto the bread, focusing on the edges for maximum crispness.
04 - Carefully crack the egg into the well in the center of the bread.
05 - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the egg and bread, letting some fall onto the edges.
06 - Set the air fryer to 350°F and cook for 7 minutes. Begin checking at 5 minutes for desired yolk firmness. For a runnier yolk, remove at 7 minutes; for a set yolk, cook up to 10 minutes.
07 - Sprinkle with sesame seeds and a pinch of salt. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or honey if desired.
