Air Fryer Coconut Shrimp (Print Version)

Juicy shrimp coated in crispy coconut-panko, air fried to golden perfection and served hot.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

→ Coating

02 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 2 large eggs, beaten
07 - 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
08 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

# Steps:

01 - Set air fryer to 400°F and allow to preheat.
02 - In a shallow bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk eggs thoroughly.
04 - In a third bowl, blend shredded coconut with panko breadcrumbs.
05 - Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, dip in beaten eggs, then coat liberally with the coconut-panko mixture.
06 - Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly mist with cooking spray.
07 - Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once halfway, until the shrimp are golden and the coating is crisp.
08 - Serve immediately with desired dipping sauce.

01 - For maximum crispness, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
