01 -
Preheat the oven to 425°F. If using a pizza stone, position it in the oven to preheat. Lightly oil a pizza pan or baking sheet if not using a pizza stone.
02 -
Roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan or preheated stone.
03 -
Arrange the mozzarella string cheese sticks evenly around the perimeter of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Fold the edge of the dough over the cheese sticks and press firmly to seal, forming a stuffed crust.
04 -
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the inner portion of the dough, keeping the stuffed crust uncovered. Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and top with pepperoni slices, distributing them across the pizza.
05 -
Brush the stuffed crust with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan if desired for added flavor.
06 -
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese melts and bubbles, developing light browning.
07 -
Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes on a rack before slicing. Serve warm.
