# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 ball pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
02 - All-purpose flour, for dusting
03 - Cornmeal, for dusting

→ Toppings

04 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce or pizza sauce
05 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese, dolloped
07 - 20 to 25 slices pepperoni
08 - 1 to 2 tablespoons hot honey, store-bought or homemade
09 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
10 - Red pepper flakes, for extra heat (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 500°F or the highest setting. Place a pizza stone or sturdy baking sheet on the middle rack and allow it to heat for at least 30 minutes. Lightly dust a work surface with flour or cornmeal and roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch round.
02 - Evenly spread tomato sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Distribute shredded mozzarella over the sauce. Top with pepperoni slices, then dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly over the surface.
03 - Carefully transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated stone or tray. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned.
04 - Drizzle hot honey over the hot pizza immediately after removing from the oven. Garnish with fresh basil. Optionally, sprinkle red pepper flakes for additional heat. Slice and serve promptly.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the oven and pizza stone are thoroughly preheated to achieve a crisp crust.
