Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin.

Unroll pizza dough and cut evenly into 12 squares.

Press each dough square into a muffin cup, smoothing the dough up the sides to create a well.

Add a small pinch of mozzarella cheese to the base of each dough cup, then spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over the cheese.

Top each cup with additional mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle mini pepperoni slices evenly over the surface.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully removing mini pizzas. Serve warm.
